This workshop will build on principles of self-compassion with a focus on practical considerations for situations encountered in daily life. Whether new to the concept or following-up from our previous workshop on the topic, we welcome you to explore self-compassion in more detail.

This seminar will introduce skills to improve focus and clarity while minimizing stress and reactivity within the workplace. It is not uncommon to go through the day on “autopilot” but better tuning in to yourself and your situation can improve your ability to care well for yourself and manage difficulties. Mindfulness practice has been shown to improve creativity, work effectiveness and problem-solving abilities and has been implemented at a number of large corporations (e.g., General Mills, Google).
